Food and Drinks
See the STEM Girl Day Campus Map for food truck, vending machine, and water monster (large water bottle refillers) locations.
It is recommended that you bring snacks and refillable water bottles to the event.
Lines for food and drinks can get long during STEM Girl Day so plan accordingly. Vending machines are available throughout the area. Two "water monsters" will be available on event plazas for refilling water bottles and each building has water bottle refill stations and water fountains.
Multiple food trucks will be on-site on the Speedway Mall between Dean Keeton and 24th Street. Below are those confirmed to date:
- Kona Ice – kona-ice.com – shaved ice topped with any of their forty flavors
- Wetzel’s Pretzels – www.wpatx.com – savory pretzels, dessert pretzels, drinks
- Yapa Empanadas – www.yapaempanadas.com – hearty artisan empanadas
- Guatemala Love – https://www.instagram.com/guatemala_loveatx/ – tacos and a variety of Guatemalan favorites
- Papua Coffee – drinkpapua.com/pages/mobile-cafe – cold brew coffee, hot coffee, and a selection of pastries
- Four Brothers – fourbrothersatx.com – empanadas, arepas, bowls
Multiple food trucks will also be located in the ASE Parking Lot 982 between Dean Keeton and 27th Street. Below are those confirmed to date:
- Kona Ice – kona-ice.com – shaved ice topped with any of their forty flavors
- 512 Brew Bus – coffee, beignets, tacos
The following cafes will be open in campus buildings:
- O's Campus Cafe - open in the EER with a limited menu
- Up and Atom Coffee Shop - open in WEL from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Littlefield Patio Cafe - open at southwest corner of Dean Keeton and University from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
